COUNTDOWN HUB

FAQ

Is this an official Rockstar Games or Take-Two website?

No. This is a fan-made community countdown site built by Gumpsis. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

Where do the release dates come from?

Every date shown is Rockstar Games' or Take-Two's own publicly announced information. Each fact and update links directly to its official source.

How is "Latest Official Updates" kept current?

A scheduled job checks Rockstar Games' and Take-Two's own official pages every 15 minutes for new posts. Nothing is written in by hand, and nothing from unofficial sites, insiders, or fan pages is ever included.

What happens if an official source is temporarily unreachable?

The last known information stays on the site. The site never shows an error to visitors -- it just shows when it last checked.

Why does the release countdown differ slightly depending on where I am?

The release date is midnight on launch day in your own local time zone -- it's the same calendar date everywhere, just not the same instant. An Extended Look is a real simultaneous global premiere, so that countdown targets one fixed moment converted to your time zone.

How does the live viewer count work?

It counts real, active browser sessions only, using a lightweight presence connection. A session drops off the count shortly after you close the tab or go idle, and refreshing the page never counts as a new person. There are no fake or simulated numbers.

Why is some content still in English when I switch to Spanish?

Official news titles and descriptions are shown exactly as Rockstar Games or Take-Two published them, in their original language, so nothing gets lost or altered in translation. Everything else on the site follows your language choice.
